Loomstate Calico is a plain-woven fabric made from unbleached, unshrunk cotton, still containing cotton seeds.

Uses can include embroidery, upholstery linings, simple bags and pouches or for making toiles.

As the calico is not shrunk, it must be pre washed (sometimes more than once) to remove shrinkage.

Care Instructions

Loomstate fabric will shrink by around 10% on first wash and a further 3% thereafter. 30 degree machine wash. Cool tumble dry. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.

Ordering : Fabrics are priced by the half metre and cut as one continuous length. For example if you require 1 metre of fabric, you should add a quantity of 2 half metres to your basket.
